Holy Whore

It is women’s month. How about honouring the woman you love by seeing the whore within her? It will probably be good for your sex life and certainly great for your soul.

Beyond procreation, sex has a deeper purpose. To ease your soul’s longing to reunite with God. During sex, SACRED SEX, along with the merging of the physical bodies, the two people’s heart centres open to one another, creating a sense of oneness. The bliss of this form of union creates a physical intensity which results in a loss of the awareness of time. When time stops, the primary objective of meditation, your soul is temporarily freed, allowing it to glimpse the bliss of reunion with God.

Passionate sex + true love = soul food.

This kind of sex is easy, but not simple for most men of the 21st century Christian variety. As the majority suffer from the Madonna complex and a belief in a male God.

Many modern men have unconsciously inherited the Madonna complex. A man with a severe case of the Madonna complex will lust for and sleep with an overtly sexual woman but struggle to respect her. In his eyes she is tainted and impure, unworthy of the status of partner, wife and mother because sex is ‘bad’ and therefore she is bad. He will look for a ‘good’ girl to marry. For these men love is reserved for good women and sex for bad women. Most guys are not this extreme but will not have low, down dirty sex with the women they love. Passionate lustful sex that suspends time is reserved for the ‘other’ woman. Leading to what a classic Madonna complex sufferer I knew called PCD (post-cum disgust) – once you cum you want to jump into your pants and go straight home, because you can’t cuddle this dirty woman who let you do all those naughty but nice things with her!

For sacred sex you require both love and pure unadulterated sexual passion, I told you it was easy but not simple.

Love is actually recognition. When you look into someone’s eyes and you glimpse the divine within them, it creates the sensation you experience as love. Many millennia ago people recognised God as both male and female, neither a he nor a she. In Genesis, the Old Testament represents God as both male and female, it says; ‘so God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female he created them.’Genesis 1:27. The concept of a feminine aspect of God is found in many ancient religions and cultures, the Yoruba have Yemanya, the Chinese have Quan Yin the Goddess of Mercy, the ancient Egyptians worshiped Isis, the Greek have Gaia, the Hindus have Shakti, the list goes on.

In ancient Babylon, when the Goddess was still embraced, people used to commune with the Divine through sex. There were priestesses whose vocation was to have sex with men, to facilitate communion with God through the union of the god (male) and goddess (female) aspects of the Divine. These sacred sex rituals took place in temples called the Temples of Hora. The priestesses were usually referred to as the Horas. As society became more patriarchal and God was increasingly perceived as male; female power, sexuality and passion became demonised. The word Hora, and its modern derivative Whore took on a negative connotation.

One of the best known priestesses of the Babylonian sex temples, Goddess Ishtar, is referred to in the bible as the Whore of Babylon. She taught that anyone who denies sex denies life. Sex facilitates creation, creation represents God. How can you see the Goddess within your lover yet deem her greatest means of creation bad?
Love her.
Worship at her temple of Hora.
Allow her to be your whore.
Through her you will remember God.
